I knew that C.S. Lewis and I had more in common than our Christianity when he said, "You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me." Welcome to a celebration of faith, tea, and the written word. I'm always engaged in a book, and whether it's one I'm reading or one of the inspirational historical romances I write, there's always a cup of tea close by. Join me in a cup as we chat about faith, our favorite books and the exciting places our reading and writing adventures take us.

My Heart Belongs in Ruby City, Idaho Giveaway!

To celebrate the release of My Heart Belongs in Ruby City, Idaho, I've got a giveaway going...

The book is up for grabs, of course. So are some heart-themed kitchen goodies, because the kitchen is the heart of the home, and the book is from the My Heart Belongs In series.

So what's the book about?

A mail order bride. A mistaken groom. A whole heap of trouble. Falling in love with a man, a town, and...even a mule. (I love Madge the mule. I hope you will, too.)

The contest only runs through May 5, 11:59 pm! US only, please.

Happy Easter!

Antique Images: Free Easter Graphic: Vintage Easter Postcard with Cross and Pink Easter Lilies:

The kids at my church bring flowers from home and decorate a six-foot tall cross outside the sanctuary on Easter morning. It's gorgeous! I love the flowers, of course, but I also love the idea of life and beauty flowing from the cross.

postcard.quenalbertini: Vintage Easter Card:
When I was young, I received little Easter cards from my Sunday school teachers--usually of crosses covered in flowers. Not quite as old as these, but I love these vintage cards. They are a sweet reminder that someone is sharing in the joy of the Resurrection with you!

So I wish you a very happy Easter, friends!
