I knew that C.S. Lewis and I had more in common than our Christianity when he said, "You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me." Welcome to a celebration of faith, tea, and the written word. I'm always engaged in a book, and whether it's one I'm reading or one of the inspirational historical romances I write, there's always a cup of tea close by. Join me in a cup as we chat about faith, our favorite books and the exciting places our reading and writing adventures take us.

New Year, New Goals!

Christmas vacation started late here, so today at long last is Back to School! That means Back to Work for Me, although I've been working on things over the holidays to some extent or another.

This is a busy season. Two deadlines loom (one self-imposed), and I'm waiting for edits for a novella that'll be out in July. I'm also appearing on several blogs in late January through February to promote The Reluctant Guardian, so stay tuned to learn where you can win a copy!

In the meantime, it's time to get back to basics: exercise, prayer, rest, eating well, and writing. Oh, and cleaning my house.

What are you up to this New Year?
